A women’s event with a twist

Elmarie Pretorius, International Speaker, Author, Trainer and a Regional Finalist for SACBW Business Women of the Year Award 2016, is hosting a charity event called Dear Future Me.
All Ticket proceeds will be donated to the iDuc Project, a charity for women and children who have been victims of abuse, as part of the fundraising initiative envisioned by SACBW.
The event will take place at Lemon Jack Studios, Raslouw on 23 June 2016.

Centurion Business Forum getting connected

The Centurion Business Forum held their April 2016 monthly network function at the Leriba Hotel and Spa.
The guest speaker at the event was world leading expert Dr Nikolaus Eberl who discussed how the social media, Linked-in, could be used to grow a business. He also gave one of his books to a lucky guest.

Neighbourhood Marketing key to success

Marketing Guru, Basil O’Hagan, was the guest speaker at the March 2016 network event of the Centurion Business Forum (CBF) held at the Centurion Country Estate.
Basil is the author of the book, 415 Action-Packed Neighbourhood Marketing Tips and discussed some of these tips with the guests.

See your body in a different light

As part of their services to members, The Centurion Business Forum recently hosted an information session for one of their members, Thermal Imaging.
Elsa Kruger, from Thermal Imaging, explained how this non-invasive and no-contact procedure can detect and monitor a number of diseases and injuries by showing thermal abnormalities present in the body.
With Thermal Imaging report, the customer can assist their general practitioner or specialist in the correct treatment of the disease, illness or injury.

Centurion Business Forum monthly network event a great success

The Centurion Business Forum’s monthly network event was well attended when members and visitors came to listen to an informative talk by international speaker and consultant David Wilkinson from Global Equipment Centre.
The theme of discussion was on how to network like a millionaire, how to create opportunities outside the network and to expand prospects with proven results.
New members were also introduced and then serious networking followed.

Scamper to improve your business

The guest speaker at the first network event for the SACBW Centurion was Julie Smit form La Volta Latin Dance Studio and Coffee Shop.
She explained the different steps of scamper on how to brainstorm effectively to improve a business.

Centurion Business Forum unique year end function

The Centurion Business Forum (CBF) year end network function was hosted by Kerk Sonder Mure.
The chairperson, Johan (Lappies) Labuschagne gave a brief overview on the CBF’s work and events throughout the year and new members were introduced.
The fun and unique part was that everyone had to bring a gift as entry fee and had to drop their business cards in a bowl.

Informative SACBW Centurion network function

The Centurion SACBW monthly function was very informative and a great success.
The guest speaker was Melanie Bernard-Fryer who discussed “Corruption – how to win the battle”. Melanie is also the CEO at Vastfontein.
Chairperson Carina Nel gave some great Interactive Networking Tips and got the ladies involved in “hands on” networking.
The hall was a buzz with business women enjoying a lovely breakfast whilst discussing business and getting to know one another at this great monthly event.
