Trade union Solidarity announced during its National Congress in Muldersdrift on 20 April 2011, that nearly 50 000 members joined the Solidarity Movement last year.
The Movement comprises Solidarity, Solidarity Helping Hand and AfriForum.
The trade union has also announced that they negotiated approximately R200 million regarding compensation for claims relating to occupational health and safety. This is a major increase from the R47,4 million in 2009.
Solidarity Helping Hand also awarded bursaries to the amount of R5 million to young people compared to R1 million in 2008.

Kruis Kinders Centurion / Cross Kids Centurion is a charity organisation that annually takes 40 children from Centurion, who have been physically, mentally, sexually abused as well as those just coming from really poor or unstable households on a camp, where the children can forget about all of their problems for a while and gain valuable experiences and just truly be kids.

Die “Orde van den Prince” praat oor Afrikaans

Die “Orde van den Prince” is ‘n Vlaams-Nederlandse Kultuurvereniging en bevorder goeie verhoudinge en noue samewerking tussen Vlaams-, Nederlands- en Afrikaanssprekendes in Suid-Afrika.
Benewens Afdelings in Vlaandere, Nederland, en tewens dwarsoor die wêreld, bestaan daar In Suid-Afrika twee Afdelings nl. in Pretoria en Kaapstad.

Please can you be of service and ask the City Council why Edison Crescent, being a circle with lots of Industries has no robot or 3-way stop signs. The people in Edison Crescent have a great problem to get out of this street.
I find it strange that they put 3-ways stops at small streets in Jacaranda but Edison, that leads out of Jacaranda and in which all the Industries are, has no 3-ways stops or robots.

Die Erfenisstigting bied op 20 en 21 Oktober 2011 ‘n konferensie en bewaringswerkswinkel by Fort Schanskop op die Voortrekkermonument Erfenisterrein aan oor die rol van plaaslike gemeenskappe in die bewaring van die land se konsentrasiekampe.
Hierdie konferensie is ‘n opvolg van die Konsentrasiekampkonferensie wat in September 2010 deur die Oorlogsmuseum van die Boererepublieke in Bloemfontein aangebied is.
