Solidariteit Helpende Hand belê R1,15 miljoen in gemeenskappe

Solidariteit Helpende Hand sal oor die volgende jaar R1,15 miljoen terugploeg in die gemeenskap.
Danksy die inwerkingstelling van ’n nuwe takbefondsingsplan sal elke Helpende Hand-tak R10 000 van die organisasie ontvang om in die gemeenskap aan te wend vir elke vyftien  nuwe ondersteuners wat by ’n tak aansluit.
Die plan verseker dat ondersteuners se fondse ten volle in hulle eie gemeenskappe aangewend word.

Hirsch’s Centurion helping Hospice on Mandela Day

Hirsch’s Centurion staff thought it appropriate to celebrate Madiba’s birthday by forfeiting a teambuilding function to help the Centurion Hospice.
They joined hands with with DA Councillor Ina Strijdom and invited Ina Middel and teacher Maureen Bowa from Hospice Centurion to celebrate this special day with them.
The Hospice’s coffee shop was in great need of a toaster and food warmer and Hirsch’s Centurion donated these appliances to them.

Kolwyntjies by dosyne vir Madiba se verjaarsdag

Ons wil ‘n bestelling plaas vir 3,000 kolwyntjies en ‘n verjaarsdagkoek van een meter lank om Madiba se verjaarsdag te vier.
Die bestelling wat binne een week afgelewer moes word, was vir Gerda van die Cake Factory/Koekfabriek in Sonjastraat, Doringkloof ‘n groot uitdaging wat sy met albei hande aangegryp en suksesvol uitgevoer het.
Volgens Gerda bak hulle kolwyntjies, koeke en kleinkoekies in verskillende geure en kleure volgens hul kliente se bestellings.

The Spring Show offers an agricultural feast

The Spring Show will be held at the Tshwane Events Centre from 1 to 6 September 2012 and will offer an agricultural feast, especially for farmers of large and small livestock.

Winners of the 2012 Young Centurion Business Challenge

The winners of the 2012 Young Centurion Business Challenge were announced at a gala evening on 26 July 2012 at the Forever Resort Centurion Hotel.
The evening was attended by all the finalists, their families, friends and some teachers, various business people, members of the Centurion Business Forum.

Soup donated and distributed by Centurion Business Forum

As part of their social responsibility projects and in celebration of Mandela day, the Centurion Business Forum decided to hand out soup to 100 families.
Members of the Centurion Round Table 19 and Lyttelton Housewive’s Market donated packets of soup and other vegetables to the cause.
Trevor van Heerden owner of Absolute Catering at Rubies and Roses Conference Venue in Endstreet, Clubview and his team prepared the soup.
