Afrikaans breek internasionale grense – FAK

Die Federasie van Afrikaanse Kultuurvereniginge (FAK) het onlangs die heel eerste Internasionale Afrikaanse Skole-Ekspo geloods.
Die aktrise en dogter van Elize Cawood en Wilson Dunster, Jenna Dunster, is vanjaar die ambassadeur van die projek en glo dat die projek baie kan doen om die liefde vir Afrikaans onder skoolkinders van graad 6 tot graad 12 te kweek.

Hiermee saam word veral die senior gemeenskap en diegene met longprobleme aangemoedig om vroegtydig griepinspuitings te kry.

SACBW Centurion network breakfast

The SA Council for Business Women (SACBW) Centurion branch hosts their monthly network breakfast on the first Tuesday of every month at the Forever Centurion Hotel.
The guest speaker at the April 2016 event was Diana Jansen, National Vice-President of SACBW and the topic of her talk was “Raising the bar without burning out.”

Health Boost for Ki-Deo Home

To celebrate World Health Day, Hirsch’s Centurion donated fruit and vegetables to the Ki-Deo Children’s Home in Centurion.
The Home provides a stable and safe home environment for destitute children, with house parents, Hein & Theresa Geldenhuys, providing for all the needs of the children, including social, physical, material and emotional.

New Mall of Africa offers unique experience

The new Mall of Africa, which is southern Africa’s largest single-phase shopping centre development to date, will be opening on 28 April 2016.
This R5 billion, 130,000m² super-regional mall will set a new benchmark for shopping centres on the continent.
The Mall is situated in Waterfall City, halfway between Johannesburg and Pretoria and minutes away from the Gautrain Midrand Station.
The mall has 26 entrances, around 6,500 parking bays, most of which are undercover and they also offer valet parking.
