The Tshwane Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) rescued an abandoned five-week-old kitten from a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet in East Lynn about a month ago.

A member of the public alerted the Tshwane SPCA, who then immediately attended to the complaint and rescued the kitten.

Kofu has in the meantime recovered at the Tshwane SPCA at the Waltloo premises where he was under 24-hour supervision and surrounded with love and care.

Kofu has now been adopted by a journalist at The Rekord newspaper, Bonny Tubbs.
