CULTIVINO – WHAT AN OCCASION!
On 2 & 3 June 2011, Irene Village Mall was the scene of a new highlight on the social calendar, Pretoria’s very first Cultivino.
Amid crackling boma-fires and fairy lights, over 40 choice food and wine suppliers set up their tasting stations in the village streets.
The lounges, equipped with cosy couches and “kuier”-benches, were also well heated just in case the wines, whiskies and hot chocolate hadn’t already warmed up the visitors from the inside!
Guests arrived dressed up in their high-fashion boots, coats and winter woolies, paying a mere R50 for the souvenir Cultivino tasting glass which gave them access to all the wines and gourmet snacks.
Irene Village Mall would like to thank their sponsors and partners in this event and all the mall’s incomparable restaurants who participated by delighting guests with their unique offerings.
The mall’s walkways truly resembled a winter wonderland reminiscent of a European village, enhanced by the quintessential warmness and generosity we South Africans know best.
