100 Hour Charity for PinkDrive well supported

10 March 2013 No Comment

After sitting for 100 hours as ‘static pilots,’ the volunteers for the PinkDrive’s awareness for breast cancer campaign emerged from their aircrafts on Saturday, 3 March 2013. Throughout the week celebrities, VIP’s, public figures and cancer survivors also supported the campaign and sat for an hour in a Mirage. The last celebrity was singer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka who said that she is a strong supporter of the campaign as well as the Museum. A big screen, mini airshow and live entertainment by Zandre were all part of the last day to celebrate the ending of the 100 hour charity. Prizes for the daily competitions were handed out to the winners by Brian Emmenis (Capital Sounds) and the sponsors.
