Talented artist dreams big

16 October 2014 No Comment

You have probably seen him sitting painting on the street corner in Doringkloof or in the garden of a restaurant in Lyttelton.
Phanuel Souza is originally from Zimbabwe where he studied at an art school during 1996 – 1998. He is married and his wife and three children are still residing in Zimbabwe.
The biggest highlight for him was when he received a merit award at a function of an open exhibition in 1998, which was attended by the President Mugabe.
Phanuel accepts work on commission and is happy that he has sold some of his paintings to buyers from abroad.
He has studied the various landscapes of the country and incorporates various aspects into one painting making it a unique landscape portrait.
Although a very humble and friendly person, his ambition is to become a worldwide known artist.
He would also like to be invited to events where he could exhibit his works.
More of Phanuel’s paintings can be seen on his Facebook page and he can be contacted on telephone 071 773 7671 or on email at phansoza@yahoo.com.
